Jen Garner Wants to Make Sure Next Man She Dates Is in It for the Long Run (REPORT)

Following her highly-publicized divorce from Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner has little interest in dating. Basically, the mom-of-three doesn’t have time to mess around with men who don’t want a commitment at this stage of her life.

“Jen wants to make sure that when she finally does decide she is ready for romance that her next man is in it for the long run,” a source told Entertainment Tonight in a new interview. “She wants to be very careful and very selective when she does find the time to date — because of the kids. She hasn’t made dating a priority.”

This comes as no surprise considering Jen put a lot of time and emotion into her split from Ben in June 2015. “She put her heart and soul into fixing the relationship and wanted so desperately to turn things around for the children’s sake as well as theirs,” an insider previousy told Us Weekly. “She forgave him for so much, and still he couldn’t change.”

The tables eventually turned, and Ben was soon the one asking for Jen back. The actor is now dating SNL producer Lindsay Shookus, but “he’s begged [Jennifer] to come back several times, but she has no interest,” a source shared. You go, Jen!

However, the brunette beauty hasn’t totally given up on love. “Jen is ready to go with her feelings and give love another try,” a friend of hers told the news outlet. “It’s been almost three years since they called it quits. It’s time for her to move on.”

On top of her love life, Jen, 45, is busy focusing on her acting career. “She is back. She has thrown herself into her work and her success,” the source told ET. “She is killing it and those [closest to her] couldn’t be more proud.”
