Is it ladies’ night already?! Jennifer Garner had a relaxing time away from her kids as she joined her girlfriends for a fun night out in L.A. on Saturday, July 13. The mom of three arrived to a sushi restaurant wearing a pair of light blue jeans, a sweater and a white top underneath.

Like always, Jennifer didn’t wear a lot of makeup as she stepped out in public. “Looks weren’t a big deal in my family. I don’t think my parents ever said, ‘You’re pretty,’ and so we just didn’t think about it,” the 47-year-old previously recalled about her childhood to People.

“I was so not one of the pretty girls that I just bypassed insecurity and didn’t see myself as attractive at all. It was not part of my life,” the 13 Going on 30 actress said. “I felt good about myself back then! That is the lucky trick.”

To this day, Jennifer prefers to not to wear too much makeup. Hiding her natural beauty is something she never got into. “Do I seem like someone who’s good at applying makeup?” she laughed. “I own the nicest brushes and I own contouring things. If I used it, I would just look bruised.”

Even though Jen hit the town without her kids or her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, she also didn’t bring along her new beau, John Miller. Going to a simple restaurant with the Alias actress’ friends seems like something he would be into.

“[Jennifer] loves that he’s not in the entertainment industry and is just a simple guy,” a source previously said to Us Weekly about the couple. “They’re doing great.”

John has also been there for Jen anytime she needs him. “Jen has been thankful for John’s stable love and support during issues she has faced with [Ben Affleck’s] sobriety. He isn’t jealous and understands Jen’s commitment to helping Ben,” a different source admitted to Us Weekly in November 2018.

When the couple is together, it’s the highlight of Jen’s day. “Jennifer is extremely happy with John,” the insider said, and added that Jen “continues to be extremely serious” with how she handles her love life.

The best thing about Jen’s beau is that he’s a very active person. According to Life & Style, John’s been encouraging his girlfriend to get more healthy.

“Jen’s in the best shape of her life and it’s wonderful that she’s got a guy who loves being physically active and is in super shape, too,” a source told the magazine. “They’re both big body and health nuts.”

If you didn’t think Jen was the one to hit the gym then think again! “Jen and John are doing everything from pumping iron to Taekwondo to biking and hiking,” the insider shared. We would love to see those pictures!
