Jennifer Lopez Still Believes in Marriage but Is in No Rush to Marry Alex Rodriguez
Though she’s already gone through three divorces, Jennifer Lopez still believes in marriage. But while she and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez have dated for over a year, she’s in no rush to tie the knot with him. “I do believe in marriage, and I would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship,” the actress revealed in a new interview. “But I’m not forcing anything right now.”
Although the 48-year-old isn’t ready for her fourth wedding, she couldn’t help but gush about their successful relationship with Alex, 42. “It’s good, it’s healthy; we communicate well,” Jennifer told Harper’s BAZAAR. “We understand each other’s lives in a way that most other people couldn’t. We both entered the public eye in our early 20s and overachieved right from the start. And that affects every dynamic in your life, from your family to your work to your relationships.”
The singer was previously married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, and most recently Marc Anthony, with whom she shares her two children — 10-year-old twins Max and Emme. Her beau Alex also has two kids, nine-year-old Ella Alexander and 13-year-old Natasha Alexander, who he shares with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
It’s so nice to see that J.Lo and A-Rod have successfully created a happy blended family. They’re all often spotted out and about with each other, and since their children are all around the same age, it sure looks like they’re enjoying their possible new siblings!
The proud mama recently celebrated a big milestone for her twins — their 10th birthday! “It’s hard to get my head around the fact that it’s been 10 years since these two forces of nature came into my world and changed my life forever,” she wrote on Instagram.
“You healed my soul and rejuvenated my existence… you taught me about love and life and myself in a way I never imagined… and I am forever in love with those beautiful faces,” she continued. Since he already has a teenager on his hands, we wonder if J.Lo is turning to A-Rod for advice on how to raise kids who are officially in the double digits?
