Jennifer Lopez Admits She Hasn’t Started Planning Her Wedding to Alex Rodriguez: ‘We’re Not There Yet’
They’re taking it slow! During a recent appearance on the Elvis Duran Show, Jennifer Lopez opened up about wedding planning with Alex Rodriguez and said that they haven’t even picked out a venue yet because they just want to enjoy their engagement a little while longer.
“Not yet, not yet, not yet. We’re not there yet,” the World of Dance host explained to the radio personality. “Yeah, we just got engaged, so … we’ve vaguely talked about, like, ‘Oh, when do you think?’ and things like that but nothing is set in stone, and we’re not there yet.”
J. Lo, 49, admitted that she and her 43-year-old future hubby are not in a rush to plan their wedding because their respective careers take up so much time.
“We have so much ahead of us this year,” the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer said. “He just started Sunday Night Baseball, and everything that he’s doing and he’s traveling constantly, and I just started the movie [Hustlers] and then I go on tour, and it’s like, trying to even like put our schedules together so we can see each other is challenging.”
Even though they still haven’t set the date, A-Rod has no doubts in his mind Jennifer is the woman for him. “I’ve never met anyone who’s more honest,” he recently gushed to The New York Times about his lady love. “She’s so authentic and genuine. It was strange to see someone of such magnitude be so normal, be such a great mother and partner and friend. How can you be like this and then go perform in front of 80,000 people? But that’s her superpower.”
On March 9, the couple announced their engagement with photos of Alex getting down on one knee and Jennifer showing off a 16-carat diamond ring. “We’re really happy,” the Second Act star told People shortly after revealing her exciting news.
No matter when it is, J. Lo and A-Rod’s wedding will be epic. It’s a given!
