Jennifer Lopez Is Shaking Up The Beauty Industry By Launching Her Own Skincare Line Next Year
This is so exciting! Jennifer Lopez has just announced that she’s launching her own skincare line in 2019 filled with trustworthy products that her fans can “count on” for great results. The “If You Had My Love” singer revealed the exciting news while recently speaking with The Wing’s Head of Culture and Diversity, Yari Blanco, at an event in NYC.
“I will be coming out with a skincare line. I’ve been working on it for a long time because I don’t want to put [just] anything out,” Jennifer, 49, said about her new business venture. “It’s going to be something that works. That’s what you can count on when my name is on something.”
When asked about her own personal skincare regimen, Jennifer — who has always had seemingly perfect skin — shared, “I get that question a lot, especially as I get older. I want [my skincare line] to be something that encompasses all the things I’ve learned and all the secrets I have. And it doesn’t have anything to do with needles.”
Jennifer explained that she just tries her best to live a “healthy lifestyle” and does that by using good products. “[I use] glycolic acid to get that healthy glow and clear skin,” she said in a previous interview with People. “I never go to bed without taking my makeup off, [and I use] night creams to keep my skin hydrated. As for daytime, SPF is k-e-y.”
But what would a healthy skincare regimen be without beauty sleep? “I try to always to get as much sleep as I can so that I can start the day well rested and do my morning meditation and affirmations,” she added. At least now we know how to get that ageless J.Lo glow!
