Jennifer Lopez’s Daughter Emme, 10, Stars In Her Mom’s New Music Video And We Can’t Stop Hitting Replay
The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! Jennifer Lopez just released the music video for her new song, “Limitless,” which is featured in her latest movie, Second Act. Even though we would normally stop everything that we’re doing to watch a new J.Lo music video, “Limitless” is even more special because Jennifer’s 10-year-old twin daughter, Emme Muñiz, is starring in it!
In the video, Jennifer, 49, plays a woman who learns to stop doubting herself in order to succeed in the workplace. She can be seen climbing a dangerous mountain which alludes to the many struggles women face in the professional world. But once she reaches the top, Jennifer dances and lets out a sigh of relief to show that everyone can reach their dreams, no matter what!
Her daughter, Emme, plays a younger version of Jen in the video and displays a couple of dance moves that Jennifer might have taught Emme herself. They also wear the same outfits in the almost five-minute clip, which makes us want to re-watch the video over and over again!
When Jennifer previously appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she noted that “Limitless” was the first video that she’s ever directed, and we have to say that the “Get Right” singer did an incredible job! She also recalled directing Emme on-set and said that she was very impressed by her performance.
“She’s like, ‘Mom, I can do it,’ and I’m like, ‘Oh God.’ I said no for a long time and then finally I said yes. And I said, ‘Baby, are you sure? You can’t, halfway through, say you’re tired. You have to do it,’” Jennifer admitted to host Jimmy Fallon. But as expected, Emme showed everybody that she is in fact, J.Lo’s daughter.
“She was so amazing and I was so proud. I forgot that I was directing my first video, it was all about her. It was all about her,” Jennifer proudly gushed about Emme. “We really bonded!”
