Who plays Arizona Robbins?

Since Season 5, which began in 2008, Arizona Robbins has been portrayed by actress Jessica Capshaw. She remains on the show today as well!

Did Arizona die in the plane crash?

No, she does not, however, she hurts her leg severely. The plane crash — which killed Lexie Grey and eventually Mark Sloan — left Arizona an emotional wreck and ultimately led to the demise of her marriage to Callie Torres.

Does Arizona Robbins really have a prosthetic?

Jessica doesn’t have a prosthetic leg in real life, but in the show, they make it seem like she does thanks to ~magic~. She tweeted back in 2014, “In [Season 9, Episode 6: “Second Opinion”] I was walking on a prosthetic with my own leg tied behind me. Stargate Digital erased any overlap. They are amazing!”

Does Arizona cheat on Callie?

Yes, and we’re still heartbroken over it. During Season 9, Arizona had a one night stand with craniofacial surgeon Lauren Boswell (played by Hilarie Burton) who guest-starred on a few episodes of the show. Her wife at the time, Callie, found out when she saw Arizona’s ring stuck to Lauren’s scrubs. So awkward…

Do Callie and Arizona get divorced?

Yes. At the beginning of Season 11, after a lot of trying and therapy to save their marriage, the couple decided to split, and we’re still upset about it. That was Callie’s second divorce in the show, as she was previously married to George O’Malley (played by T.R. Knight).

Do Callie and Arizona get back together?

Nope! In fact, they both totally moved on. Shortly after their split, Callie began dating Penelope Blake (yes the same doctor who Meredith thinks killed Derek). The couple moved to NYC with Callie and Arizona’s daughter, Sofia, after a long custody battle that Arizona ended up winning (she decided to let Callie take her anyway).

Since Callie left, Arizona has had romantic relationships with Leah Murphy (who eventually left), Eliza Minnick (who was fired), and now, she’s having a fling with DeLuca’s sister, a visiting gynecologist named Carina!

Was Arizona pregnant in Season 12?

Arizona was never pregnant on Grey’s, but Jessica gave birth to her fourth child, daughter Josephine, in May 2016 right before Season 12 ended. That means she had to hide her baby bump throughout all the episodes that season!
