Health NewsFormer President Jimmy Carter Reveals He Has Cancer

Just more than one week after Jimmy Carter underwent surgery to remove a mass on his liver, the former president has revealed he has cancer.

The 90-year-old politician announced on Wednesday, Aug. 12 that he has been diagnosed with cancer that originated in his liver but has now spread to other parts of his body. The disease was discovered following his operation on Monday, Aug. 3.
