John Legend Reveals He Likes To Get Wife Chrissy Teigen And Their Kids ‘Practical’ But ‘Tasteful’ Christmas Presents
Picking out Christmas gifts isn’t easy, but for “Green Light” singer John Legend, he doesn’t have to try hard to get his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and his kids, Luna, 2, and Miles, 7 months, a great gift. In a new interview with People, John opened up about how he likes to pick out his Christmas presents for his family and revealed that he always likes to start from the heart.
“I like it to be practical, but also really beautiful and tasteful,” he gushed, and since Christmas is right around the corner, John said that he won’t be doing any last minute shopping. “I have Chrissy’s present, and Miles won’t know the difference.” Chrissy’s present, he shared, will be something that “she can use” but is “also fly.” How sweet!
Miles’ gift will probably be something that every baby would love to have and Luna’s gift will most likely be something that she will cherish for a very long time. “[Chrissy’s] been working on Luna’s stuff a lot,” John admitted, and for his gift this year, the Grammy-winning singer won’t have to do a lot of guessing to figure out what his wife got him.
“I get him a suede man bag every year that he looks forward to because he uses it every single day for that year,” Chrissy said in a previous interview with CNN. “There’s nothing he looks forward to more than that bag.”
Christmas at the Legend-Teigen household won’t be extravagant this year either. “I don’t think we need to go extra with Christmas,” John previously told Heat magazine of their 2018 plans. “We’ll just try to keep it at a normal level.” If a “normal” Christmas in John’s family means priceless gifts, beautiful decor, and spending quality time with the family, then we’re sure they’re going to have a great holiday!
