John Travolta’s Kids Ella and Ben Look All Grown Up in New Family Photo: ‘Happy New Year’
John Travolta kicked off 2025 with a precious family photo featuring his kids. The Grease actor posed with daughter Ella Bleu Travolta and son Ben Travolta in a new snapshot shared on Instagram on Thursday, January 2.
“Happy new year from the Travolta family,” John, 70, captioned the picture.
The family stood out in the snow wearing their winter gear. John bundled up in a black coat with brown gloves during the winter family outing. Ella, 24, and Ben, 14, smiled while standing next to their dad in front of the gorgeous backdrop.
In the comments section of the post, fans wished John and his family a happy New Year and pointed out how much the kids are his mini-mes.
“Strong genes lol they both have your face,” one person said, while another wrote, “Ben looks like mama and Ellie [sic] looks like papa.”
“Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family!!” High School Musical actor Bart Johnson wrote in a comment underneath the post.
Actor William DeMeo wrote, “Happy New Year brother,” with heart emojis.
The Cash Out star shares his children with late wife Kelly Preston, who died in July 2020 following a two-year battle with breast cancer.
Ella also shared a glimpse of the holiday season festivities for the Travolta family on her Instagram page. “Merry Christmas everyone, so much love to you all,” she captioned a post on December 27.
The post featured a look at the family’s Christmas tree and making holiday treats in the kitchen.
“Merry Christmas!! I love you all!!!” actress Fiona Palomo wrote in a comment, to which Ella responded, “Merry Christmas Fi!!! Love you.”
Weeks ahead of New Year’s Eve, John celebrated his son’s birthday with a sweet tribute on Instagram. “Happy birthday my Ben. Your dad loves you! And so does Peanut!” he wrote alongside a photo of Ben with their family dog, Peanut, on November 23.
He also recently shared a video of Ben showing off his athleticism on the ski slopes.
“Ben’s summer snow ski adventures in the southern hemisphere!” John shared in the caption of an October 14 video.
In 2024, John documented several trips with his kids on his Instagram page, whether it was skiing or going to the Paris Olympics with Ella.
“He’s always been one for living large, but now he’s going all out, traveling the world with his kids, indulging in fine dining, luxury hotels and sightseeing tours, and private jets when he’s not piloting his own planes,” an insider told Closer in September of John’s travels. “John’s having the time of his life at 70. He’s incredibly generous and looking after everybody. The bills are all on him and he wouldn’t have it any other way.”
“Obviously, he’s taking wonderful care of his daughter and son and friends as well as his staff who get handsome tips,” the insider added. “Some may say this is a late-in-life crisis, but John’s in a good place emotionally and physically and excitedly checking off all these places to see on his bucket list.”
