Jon and Dorothea’s eldest child, Stephanie, came along on May 31, 1993. Although she has yet to pursue a Hollywood career like her father, she does take after Jon’s singing ability.

In 2017, the Slippery When Wet actor and his daughter performed “I’ve Got The Girl” — which is the song he wrote for Stephanie — during a concert. While he usually played old home videos of Stephanie singing the song in the background on a massive monitor, she joined her dad on stage instead.

Years earlier in 2012, Stephanie was arrested on drug charges after a suspected overdose while she was attending Hamilton College. At the time, she was transported to the hospital after campus police found her unconscious with a small amount of heroin in her possession.

The “It’s My Life” singer once opened up about the “horrible” experience while chatting with The Mirror. “It was my worst moment as a father,” he candidly shared of the moment when he received a phone call from his daughter at the hospital at 2 a.m.

“The first thing she said [is] ‘I’m alright,'” he recalled. “But then she said, ‘This is what happened.’ … [As a parent,] you wake up, you shake it off and put your shoes on and say, ‘OK, I am on the way home.'”

Stephanie’s charges were later dropped due to a local law in Kirkland, New York, where the liberal arts college is located, that prohibits prosecution of those who have experienced a drug overdose. Nowadays, Stephanie is a model, per Glamour Path.

While Stephanie is private about her personal life, her dad confirmed that she is engaged to be married as of 2024. Jon revealed in an April 2024 interview that he wrote a song called “Kiss the Bride” to play for Steph on her wedding day.

Jesse Bongiovi

Jon and his wife’s second child, Jesse, was born on February 19, 1995. Since he’s all grown up, Jesse has become quite successful like his father. Although he doesn’t sing, the businessman is an American wine entrepreneur.

Before Jesse launched Hampton Water with his dad in March 2019, he attended the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. There, he played football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Jesse has accomplished a lot so far in his young life. While chatting with Closer, he credited his father for pushing him past his comfort zone.

“I think his fans probably know this, but my dad is an incredibly hard worker,” Jesse gushed. “He would often wake me up in the summer to let me know he just finished a six-mile run. He works harder than anyone I’ve ever met, and I think it shows.”

In May 2024, Jesse married his longtime girlfriend, Jesse Light, at the same Las Vegas wedding chapel where his parents tied the knot 35 years earlier.

Jacob Hurley ‘Jake’ Bongiovi

The star’s third son made his arrival on May 7, 2002. Although he’s still young, it seems Jacob, who goes by Jake, has many goals in life.

In June 2020, he celebrated his high school graduation by sharing a photo in his cap and gown alongside his dad. “Congrats, everyone,” Jake captioned the father-son snap.

Months earlier, Jon’s son revealed he would be attending Syracuse University in the fall of 2020. “And they said it was impossible,” Jake wrote next to a photo with orange balloons.

Like his older brother, Jake also loves playing football. In addition, his Instagram shows he likes to model, golf and hang out with friends. 

He first sparked dating speculation with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown in June 2021 when they were spotted holding hands in New York City and had begun leaving flirty comments under each other’s Instagram posts. The couple made their red carpet debut at the EE British Academy Film Awards in London in March 2022. 

In April 2023, the up-and-coming actor and the Enola Holmes star announced their engagement on Instagram when she posted photos wearing a huge diamond sparkler on her ring finger. “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all,” her caption read, while her beau posted similar photos with a caption that simply said, “Forever.”

Although the couple has kept tight-lipped about their wedding plans, Jon revealed in April 2024 that they would be tying the knot “in the near future.”

Romeo Jon Bongiovi

Jon and Dorothea’s youngest son, Romeo, made his arrival on March 29, 2004. Romeo has been spotted out and about with his dad and mom countless times, but unfortunately, there isn’t much information about him out there.

Jon has never let his music career get in the way of raising his family. “It’s just what I do, it’s not who I am,” he told People, explaining that he doesn’t take his job too seriously. “I write songs. I happen to be very good at performing them. That’s it.”
