Congrats!Josh Brolin And Wife Kathryn Welcome A Baby Girl Together
Congratulations are in order! Josh Brolin and his wife, Kathryn Brolin, have welcomed their first child together, the couple announced via Instagram on Sunday, Nov. 4.
“Dearest Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce our little girl Westlyn Reign Brolin (Bean). Mama Kathryn was stellar during this miracle birth and Bean is a flawless gem through and through,” Josh captioned a sweet clip of their newborn daughter sleeping. “We are blessed to the core and appreciate so much the love and support during this pregnancy from ALL who have partaken in our journey, directly and/or indirectly. ❤️❤️🍼🏋🏻♀️🍀#beanlove #dogtown @kathrynbrolin.”
Katherine followed up with the same video, but a different caption. “Our family’s newest (and tiniest) member. Westlyn Reign Brolin, I love you so much already. Nothing compares to this… nothing. My heart is totally different forever. @joshbrolin thanks for this little life of ours,” she wrote.
Josh and Kathryn previously wed in 2016, and while this is her first child, Josh is already a dad to two adult children with his first wife, Alice Adair, whom he was married to from 1988 until 1994. The actor was also once hitched to Diane Lane from 2004 until 2013.
Back in May, Josh took to Instagram to announce he and Kathryn were expecting. “There’s a new sheriff in town, and she’s no bigger than a sweet potato. Hang on to your hats,” he wrote alongside a pic of his wife showing off her bump at the time.
Kathryn and Josh have been documenting their pregnancy with “Bean” on social media ever since. And in late Oct., Josh took to Instagram to praise Kathryn ahead of the birth of their bundle of joy. “I have the greatest soul mate you can have. Bouts of darkness hit and we/she powers through it. Then moments of the power of this miracle hit and inevitable moves come. Bean. Oh, Bean,” he wrote. “You have the greatest mama of all. You lucky lil work of art. We know you’re soon to reveal yourself. We can’t wait. We are grateful beyond measure. I am grateful beyond measure.”
