Judi Dench on Aging: “I’d Rather Be Young and Know Nothing”
At 80-years-old, Judi Dench admits she wouldn’t mind turning back the clock to relive some of her younger years.
“There’s nothing good about being my age,” she joked in a new interview.
“Someone said to me, ‘You have such a wealth of knowledge,’ and I just said ‘I’d rather be young and know nothing, actually.’ Bugger the wealth of knowledge.”

Though she’s growing older, the Oscar winner revealed she never wants to think about retirement and hopes to keep making movies for many years to come.
“I don’t think about slowing down. So celebrate the things that you can do and also try and do new things. I believe in that tremendously. But in our job, that’s what we have to do all the time,” she said in a new interview with ‘People‘ magazine.
