Julia Roberts (Finally) Joins Instagram — See Her First Posts!
Finally! Julia Roberts has decided to officially join Instagram and her account is already amazing. In just two days, Julia has already gained more than 400,000 followers (and counting!). Although Julia has yet to turn on commenting on her posts, you can tell the Pretty Woman star has already grown fond of the photo-sharing platform.
In her very first pic on the site, Julia posed in a cute black sweater with the word "Love" written across the chest. The image, of course, perfectly embodies the sweet and caring actress that we've all grown to love over the years. "Hello☀️," she captioned the pic as if she was welcoming herself to Instagram.
In her second photo, Julia decided to play with Instagram's filters and posted a black and white image of herself twinning with a friend. The two lovely ladies looked absolutely stunnning in their similar outfits and accessories. Their shirts hilariously read, "You can't make everyone happy. You're not an avocado," and the post quickly garnered 70,000 likes.
Hopefully Julia will continue to keep sharing a new photo every day — and she may decide to follow a few celebrity friends, as well! This year, Tom Cruise also decided to join the fun social media platform, and like Julia, he also kept his bio simple by writing, "Actor. Producer. Running in movies since 1981." Julia's reads, "Human." Tom instead opted for a more professional first post and decided to promote his movie Mission: Impossible, the sixth installment of the franchise.
Tom, already close to 2 million followers, has been keeping his page very promtional so far. Although Julia does not have as many followers as Tom, we're sure that she'll have millions by the end of 2018. If there's anything that you can learn from the actress, it's that it's never too late to start an Instagram account — we can't wait to see her first selfie!
