Julia Roberts and Danny Moder Have an Amazing Family! Meet Their Kids Hazel, Phinnaeus and Henry

Hazel Moder

Hazel is Julia and Danny’s only daughter, who was born on November 28, 2004. Since the parents are very private when it comes to their children, it isn’t often for fans to get an update on Hazel or her younger brothers. However, the Erin Brockovich star revealed her daughter cut her hair and donated it to Wigs for Kids when she was 12.

“That’s a big deal for a girl who’s about to be 13 and has this cascading blonde hair that gets commented on a lot,” Julia said to InStyle in 2017. “But she’s so good and brave. She sees it as something else.”

Though she’s stayed out of the public eye for most of her life, perhaps Hazel is gearing up to follow in her parents’ footsteps. In July 2021, the blonde beauty made her red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Hazel looked beautiful in a high-end ensemble while supporting her dad at the premiere of his film Flag Day.

Julia dished on her twins going off to college, revealing that she dresses like their college mascot.

“Two of the three of my children are in college,” she shared during an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in December 2023. “You become immediately like, ‘This is my entire life.’ I wear the colors, I do the whole thing.”

Phinnaeus Moder

Phinnaeus — who also arrived on November 28, 2004 — is quite the athletic young man as he loves to surf. On Instagram, Danny has shared a handful of photos of his son hitting the waves.

In addition to surfing, Phinnaeus is also a fan of skateboarding. When the teenager was spotted on a rare outing in Los Angeles with Danny in June, he carried a skateboard in one hand and transported some gear in a backpack.

Even though her two eldest kids are away at college, Julia still parents them in the same manner as she did when they lived at home.

“I have immense amount of appreciation for both of my older kids because they still allow me to be the same mom to them and it’s not eye-rolling,” she said during a December 2023 appearance on Today. “There’s a huge amount of understanding.”

Henry Moder

Born on June 18, 2007, Henry is the youngest of Julia and Danny’s family. Like his older brother, Henry is a very athletic kid. In May 2019, his dad shared a video of him doing a backflip on a trampoline. “Henry tripping,'” he captioned the Instagram post.

Aside from partaking in some extreme sports like BMX and surfing, Henry is a total pro when it comes to riding his skateboard. To celebrate his latest birthday in June 2021, Danny uploaded a video of his son doing a cool trick on a ramp. “Turning 14 … turning in the air … summers turn. Ya Henry,” he penned in the caption.
