Julia Roberts Reveals Why She Has Never Watched a Single ‘Game of Thrones’ Episode

It is arguably the biggest television show on the planet, but there is at least one person who isn’t interested in watching Game of ThronesJulia Roberts.

“I’ve never watched Game of Thrones, but someone just told me a couple days ago, ‘You look like one of the wildings,’” the actress said after a Twitter follower asked her who she believes will end up sitting on the throne when it is all said and done.

The characters, known as Free Folk, are also known for the their wild appearance. “My hair is super curly. This has been professionally done for this occasion, but I was at the beach, and so my hair was telling its own stories,” Julia explained.

As for why the Pretty Woman star hasn’t given into the pressure and watched an episode of the fantasy drama, Julia revealed that it is “too scary.” “Maybe too much sex,” she added. “There’s a lot of sex, and there’s zombies and stuff,” Patricia, 51, chimed in with.

“Then it’s for sure not for me,” Julia replied.

Julia may be in the minority though, as Game of Thrones has become a culture phenomena. However, now that the show is wrapping up, perhaps the Homecoming star will be interested in one of its proposed prequels. In fact, fellow actress Naomi Watts has already been cast to star in one of the pilots titled The Long Night.

“I could not be more excited. Welcome to Westeros, Naomi,” creator George R.R. Martin wrote on his blog soon after the news was revealed. The Ring actress is set to play a “a charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret … Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones.”
