Justin Hartley Is a Father of 1 Brilliant Kid! Meet the ‘Tracker’ Actor’s Daughter Isabella
He may be most known for playing a hearthrob on the massively popular NBC show This Is Us, but in the real world, Justin Hartley is a devoted father to his daughter, Isabella.
Justin Hartley Welcomed Daughter Isabella During His 1st Marriage
The Tracker actor welcomed his only child on July 3, 2004, with his wife at the time, Lindsay Korman. The pair had tie the knot just one year prior. Unfortunately, the couple would part ways in 2012, citing “irreconcilable differences.” However, Justin has made it very clear that he and his ex are all about being fantastic coparents to their daughter.
“Communication and an understanding of where everyone’s coming from and realizing that it’s hard,” the Passions alum told Us Weekly about what it takes to be successful at coparenting. “As much as you try to put yourself in other people’s shoes, you’re never fully going to be able to do it, but you should just make the effort.” Justin revealed that he and Lindsay are on good terms — he even had quite the praise for her.
“She’s very resourceful, so I’m thankful that that’s the case (and) I get a lot of help from my ex-wife,” he told the outlet. “I get a lot of help from my daughter. I mean, she’s the one that’s making it all go around. She deserves all the credit.”
Justin Hartley Opened Up About His Bond With Isabella
Justin would go on to marry again — he said I do to actress Chrishell Stause in October 2017. Although, the two would split in November 2019. He married his third wife, Sofia Pernas , in 2021. He revealed that Isabella started dating as a teen.
“She’s dating a little bit and I just want to crawl into a hole and die,” Justin joked during an appearance on The Tonight Show. “I know it’s a natural thing, it’s a healthy thing. She’s wonderful, she’s sweet, she’s responsible, she’s great, she’s earned the trust, but I hate it.”
“I loved her first, man,” he explained to the host. Well, we know that Justin will always be the number one guy in his daughter’s life.

Isabella is of course off enjoying life. But while she is all about school and her pals, she also makes sure to spend time with her father. “We do everything from read to surf Instagram,” Justin once told Us Weekly. “We’ll go for walks. We played basketball yesterday morning. … We swim, we go for drives, we do everything.”
“It’s nice. I’m lucky to have a [daughter] who I feel like tells me everything or can tell me everything,” he continued. “She probably doesn’t tell me everything, but I think she feels like she can. That was the goal. … She’s my best friend.”
In November 2022, Justin reflected on his daughter leaving for college to the University of California, Santa Cruz.
“It’s tough when they leave,” he said during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. “You think you’re ready for it because as they get older they gain independence and they’re gone a lot anyway. They have their own friends and their own interests and you can go see them.”
“When they’re actually gone, it really is a text or a phone call. And you know, she’s 18, so let’s be honest, it’s a text. I’m not getting phone calls, which is normal, but I hate it,” he added.
He also shared that she had begun to learn how to drive on Late Night with Seth Meyers in February 2021.
“I’m in the car, she’s driving, she’s doing great and I’m in the passenger seat,” Justin said. “I’m kind of feeling loose and I open up the gummy bears and as I’m eating them — I’m shoving them in my mouth like a child — and I look up and we are cruising through a four-way — a red light! Just reckless!”
