Justin Hartley Is Married to ‘Tracker’ Costar Sofia Pernas! Get to Know the Actor’s Wife
Heartthrob Justin Hartley is happily in love with his wife, Sofia Pernas! Their love story is quite unique and certainly translates onscreen.
How Did Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas Meet?
Justin and Sofia first met when they were working together on The Young and the Restless from 2015 to 2016. At the time, he was in a relationship with Chrishell Stause. He and Chrishell got married in 2017 and announced their split in 2019. Their divorce was finalized in 2021.
“You meet in different capacities. We didn’t work together that closely, and we didn’t work together that long,” Justin told Haute Living in December 2021 of meeting Sofia. “I knew that she was very kind and very nice. I liked being around her. But I was in a different place in my life. I wasn’t available. Timing has a lot to do with that. I’m very lucky to not only have found ‘The One,’ but I found her when she was available and the timing was right.”
When Did Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas Get Married?
Justin and Sofia got married in a secret ceremony in May 2021 after reconnecting. During an October 2024 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the This Is Us alum dished on their quiet nuptials, which took place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We had a justice of the peace come over to the house with a mask on. Sofia and I got out of the pool, and we had our bathing suits on,” he explained. “[It was] the best wedding in the world.”
They came up with the idea to have the wedding at home during a chat while they were in the pool one day.
“We were talking about it in the pool. We were like, ‘We should do this,'” he shared. “We should get married. We love each other. This is gonna be amazing.”
“Then within a week, we were able to coordinate this, I guess, lawyer to come over and said, ‘Do you do this?'” Justin said. “And we were like, ‘Yeah, we love it.’ And we’re married.”
And it seems like things have been great for the pair since then.
“I’ve met my life partner,” the Emmy nominee said. “I’ve got a really great imagination, but I could not have imagined someone like this. She’s off the charts.”
Who Is Sofia Pernas?
Sofia is an actress who was born in Morocco. Some of her acting credits have included roles in NCIS, Bent, Jane the Virgin, The Brave, Quantum Leap and more. In 2024, she appeared in two episodes of Tracker as Billie Matalon alongside her husband.
Justin explained how he got his wife to agree to making an appearance on the show.
“Obviously, I got her because I live with her,” he said during an October 2024 appearance on Max’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? “It’s not even a phone call.”
“It’s like, ‘Hey, babe. Come on, we’re going to work,’” he shared. “But that’s fun when you can work with people that you love.”
Justin said that he loves being able to work with his wife on the show. “It’s great. It’s great having her,” he gushed. “She’s a light and we get the greatest guest stars on our show.”
Does Justin Hartley Have Kids?
Justin shares one daughter named Isabella Justice Hartley with ex-wife Lindsay Korman, whom he was married to from 2004 to 2012. After high school, Isabella, who was born in 2004, went to college at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
“If you had a punch list of things that kids should do from the time they’re an adolescent to the time to become an adult, she’s hit all of the positive ones,” he told People in February 2024 when talking about his daughter. “She’s just made it easy on me, so that’s good.”
