Justin Timberlake Gushes About Jessica Biel On Emmys Red Carpet: ‘I’m Just So Proud’

All eyes were on Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel on Monday, Sept. 17, as they strutted their stuff down the 2018 Emmys red carpet. And while the two stood side-by-side the entire time, Justin, 37, made it clear that his wife was the one who deserved to be in the spotlight.

Jessica, 36, was nominated for Lead Actress in a Limited Series for her role in The Sinner, and her darling husband explained that he couldn’t be more proud. “I’m more geeked out than she is,” he told E! News on the red carpet. “I found out about the nomination before she did — she was in Europe, actually, when the nominations came out — but, yeah, I was there to watch her option this and develop it from scratch… I saw how much she put into it.” He continued, “And so, I’m just so proud to be here and see this happen for her.”

We’re not crying, you are! Jessica shared her gratitude for the nomination as well, telling the outlet that “it means everything” to her. “To be nominated for the first time for this, it’s just an absolute, massive honor and a dream and it’s just wonderful,” she said. “I’m just very, very excited.”

Jessica was up against Laura Dern for The Tale, Michelle Dockery for Godless, Edie Falco for Law and Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders, Regina King for Seven Seconds, and Sarah Paulson for America Horror Story: Cult. Ultimately, it was Regina King who took home the award, but we’re so glad Jessica and Justin were able to spend this special night together!
