Kensington Palace Confirms Kate, William, Meghan, And Harry Will Spend Christmas Day Together At Sandringham
Our Christmas wish just came true! According to the Daily Mail, Kensington Palace has finally confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, will spend Christmas day with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The two lovely couples will be joining Queen Elizabeth for a fun-filled day at her famous Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England. The news comes just weeks after Meghan, 37, and Kate, 36, were reportedly not getting along behind palace doors. In a recent interview, Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle, confessed the rumors of the Duchesses’ feud have been shocking to him. “The Meghan I know was always sweet, kind, generous. She was always demanding but never rude,” he recently told the Daily Mail.
After news of Meghan and Kate’s alleged feud hit the internet, a source told Life & Style that Queen Elizabeth is “petrified that Christmas will be ruined by the girls unless they sort out their differences.” The insider continued, “She’s 92 years old and has seen enough drama to last her a lifetime, and can’t believe how petty they’re being.”
Since Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, has reportedly been invited to spend Christmas with the royal family, Kate allegedly felt snubbed that her mother, Carole Middleton, has never been extended the same invitation. “Kate is livid. Kate has been married to William for seven years and not once has her family spent the holidays enjoying the life of luxury at Sandringham,” a source told Life & Style.
Lucky for us, the royal family’s official website has revealed what activities the Cambridges and Sussexs will partake in during their Christmas with the Queen. “On Christmas Eve, the royal family lay out their presents on trestle tables and will exchange their gifts at teatime,” the site explained. Meghan and Doria will also allegedly enjoy some martinis and an elegant “black-tie dinner” that night, royal expert Ingrid Seward shared. Sounds like fun!
