Kate Middleton looked more stunning than ever at her first royal state banquet last evening.

The 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge joined her husband, Prince William, also 33, and Queen Elizabeth, 89, for a glamorous dinner at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, Oct. 20 to honor Chinese President Xi Jinping‘s four-day visit to the UK.

For the lavish occasion, Kate donned a red, embellished Jenny Packham gown and the sparkling Lotus Flower tiara. This was only the third time Prince George and Princess Charlotte‘s mother wore a tiara to a regal outing.

She previously donned the royal family’s Cartier Halo tiara — an anniversary gift to the Queen Mother from her husband, King George VI — to her 2011 wedding and the Lotus Flower tiara to a 2013 Buckingham Palace reception for diplomats.
