Kate Middleton Reportedly Had a Secret Outing With Prince Louis on Valentine’s Day

She reportedly has a secret way to sneak in and out of Kensington Palace but that doesn’t mean that Kate Middleton can go completely undetected when she’s out in public. On Valentine’s Day, the royal was reportedly spotted taking her youngest son, Prince Louis, on a casual and quiet stroll around a nearby London park. Though the 37-year-old Duchess of Cambridge was dressed down in sneakers, a puffer jacket and black leggings for the Thursday, February 14 outing, Kate quickly caught the attention of a royal fan who managed to snap a photo of the royal out with Louis, 9 months.

The Instagram fan account @fromberkshiretobuckingham shared a few of the alleged Kate photos with the caption, “Kate had a little valentine date with Louis! The duchess was pictured enjoying a stroll with her youngest in the park today by a couple who had just enjoyed a visit to the gorgeous display of [Princess] Diana’s dresses at Kensington Palace!”

It’s possible that Kate used her secret route to exit Kensington Palace before she took Louis on this little walk around the park earlier this week. According to the UK’s Hello! magazine, Kate, Prince William, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sometimes use a royal car service that transports them from the palace’s gates to nearby Hyde Park so they aren’t hounded by fans.

Unfortunately, Harry and Meghan might not need to use this secret palace exit anymore since they’re soon moving to Frogmore Cottage, which is located on the royal family’s Windsor Castle estate. “It’s set in a delightful location, safe and secure — away from prying eyes — and lots of space to bring up a family,” royals expert Dickie Arbiter previously explained of their new abode.

Although they reportedly love living near Kate and William in London’s Kensington Palace, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex apparently wanted to live in a more private location. “They could’ve easily remained at Kensington Palace and moved into a bigger pad,” a royals insider previously said, “But at Frogmore, they’ll have more freedom.”
