Katie Holmes Reveals Why She’s “Careful” About Posting Photos of Daughter Suri Cruise on Social Media
Since her highly-publicized 2012 divorce from Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes has tried to keep their daughter, Suri Cruise, out of the spotlight — and is especially cognizant of photos she shares of the little girl on social media.
"I try to post things that take time,” the 37-year-old actress said in a new interview with People. “I am careful with what I share; I think about it. To me [Instagram] is like a magazine.”
Though Katie rarely shares pictures of Suri, 10, she did recently post a sweet mother-daughter snapshot on Instagram of the two snuggling at her mom's birthday party. "#Blessed #Goodnight #Gratitude #HappyBirthdayMom #Family #Love," she captioned the black and white image.

The Dawson's Creek star and Tom, 54, welcomed Suri, their only child together, in April 2006. The former couple — who married in November 2006 — divorced after six years of marriage in July 2012.
