After spending two days volunteering with kids at the Moria Refugee Camp in Lesbos, Greece, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise, 12, are finally ready to head back home. The duo were spotted hauling their luggage through the airport in Mytilini, Greece, while they waited for their flight to take off.

Katie, 40, sported a cute brown sweater with wide-leg jeans and flip flops while Suri had on a comfy white sweater with sneakers. The two previously vacationed together when they went on a mother-daughter ski trip to the mountains. Katie recently shared a throwback photo from their snowy outing together to Instagram on Sunday, February 17, and quoted English writer Virginia Woolf in the caption.

“‘No need to hurry. No need to sparkle. No need to be anybody but oneself,’” Katie wrote. In the black-and-white photo, Suri can be seen looking through a window with another girl while they appreciate the amazing view of the mountains.

At the Moria Refugee Camp, Katie worked with the nonprofit Artolution, an organization which “promotes healing, resilience and positive social change” through art, according to its website.

Taking to Instagram, Katie shared a bunch of photos from her trip to Lesbos. She even posted a photo of Suri playing with one of the local kids at the camp. Katie captioned the sweet pic, “#moriarefugeecamp ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Katie also thanked the organization for making her time there so memorable. “I am so grateful for this experience of working with and getting to know these incredible women in #moriarefugeecamp their hearts are so kind ❤️,” she wrote in another Instagram post.

During Katie’s stay at the camp, she was filmed by a group of women for a possible documentary they are working on. “I love these women who became our friends as we collaborated on many different projects this week,” her Instagram post reads. “I am so very grateful for this experience. The resilience of these women is so profound and truly inspiring to witness. and I pray for refugees everywhere. #moriarefugeecamp.”
