Keanu Reeves gushed about his relationship with Alexandra Grant on the red carpet for the premiere of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on Monday, December 16.

“We got dolled up and it was very exciting and just kind of nerve-wracking in the car, getting out. It’s really special to be side by side,” he told Entertainment Tonight of bringing Alexandra, 51, as his date.

The Matrix actor, 60, voices the character Shadow in the animated film. “The heart just opens,” he said of seeing his artist girlfriend looking gorgeous in a black and silver sequined outfit for the premiere.

The happy couple looked picture-perfect as they walked the red carpet with smiles on their faces.

An insider previously told In Touch that Keanu could not imagine his life without Alexandra.

“Keanu was living alone for a while, but Alexandra changed everything,” the source said in April. “He’s never felt this way before. He loves their life together.”

They’ve Come a Long Way

Keanu and Alexandra were first romantically linked in 2019 after a decade of friendship and collaborations. Two years after they first went public with their romance, a source told Closer that the John Wick actor and the visual artist “love and respect each other and there’s never any drama.”

Keanu opened up about his romance with Alexandra on another rare occasion during a March 2023 interview with People when he was asked to describe a moment of bliss.

“A couple of days ago with my honey,” he told the outlet. “We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together.”
