Kelly Ripa Goes Makeup-Free in Romantic Vacation Photo With Husband Mark Consuelos — See the Cute Pic!
Hollywood couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos recently traded the New York City cold and snow for a sunny vacation in Mexico and, during the romantic trip, the 48-year-old star proved she doesn’t need makeup to look totally gorgeous! The Live with Kelly and Ryan cohost shared a sweet snap to Instagram on Sunday, February 3 of herself snuggling up to Mark, 47, on the beach — and Kelly looked absolutely amazing in the makeup-free pic!
“One week ago we were warm and on the same coast for 24 hours … I love that story ❤️🔥🇲🇽 #daddy #vivamexico #loscabos,” Kelly captioned the bare-faced photo. Check out the pic of Kelly and Mark on vacation below!
During a recent interview, Kelly — who has been hitched to Mark since 1996 — opened up about the diet she follows to keep looking her best and revealed she basically indulges in “whatever the hell I want.”
She explained, “Here’s the thing: I’m 48. These are things at 38 I never would have tainted myself with. But at 48, I’m sort of saying, Who cares? Life is short. Eat the peanut butter and jelly.” Apparently, PB&J sandwiches are a favorite of both Kelly and her handsome hubby. “Mark and I used to have peanut butter and jelly as a bedtime snack. I’m not sure why. Even as a kid, I didn’t really like it, but now here I am. I get ciabatta bread, and now I eat half a sandwich before bed, with chunky Skippy peanut butter or Justin’s honey peanut butter and Bonne Maman strawberry or raspberry jam.”
Though Kelly loves a good PB&J or two, she would never eat one before she starts her daily morning show with Ryan Seacrest. “I’ve tried eating once or twice before the show and it’s always been a disaster,” she revealed. “It’s very, very hard to host a morning show when you’re digesting — my brain almost goes to sleep.”
Instead, her breakfast simply includes a good cup of coffee. “It fills me up and I feel satiated, so it keeps me from being ravenous during the show,” she said. Keep doing what you’re doing, Kelly, because you’ve never looked better!
