Kelly Ripa Sets the Record Straight After an Online Hater Accuses Her of Getting a Nose Job
Don’t mess with Kelly Ripa! Over the weekend, the 47-year-old TV star took to Instagram to share a cute before-and-after photo of herself posing with her hubby, Mark Consuelos — but when an online hater accused Kelly of getting a nose job in the image’s comments, she held nothing back with her response.
“Double [#FlashbackFriday] 1995 vs. 2009 before I discovered that I needed a stylist and had a GOOD side,” Kelly captioned the pic. Then one Instagram user wrote, “And a new nose. Bless [your] heart honey baby poor thing,” to which another person commented, “Nose job and veneers,” regarding Kelly’s throwback look.
Without missing a beat, Kelly defended her appearance by writing, “I’m gonna tell you right now. No nose job, and no veneers. I wouldn’t be sleeping in a retainer every night if I had. You guys do know how to make a girl feel special.”
Kelly actually wasn’t the only celebrity to set the record straight on her rumored nose job by commenting on the pic. Her husband, Mark, quickly wrote, “I can attest… Same nose. No veneers… and fierce retainer.” When Kelly noticed her spouse’s message, she adorably wrote back, “Thanks honey, I’ll wear it for you tonight.”
Funnily enough, Mark also took to the Instagram photo’s comments section to poke fun at his own look in the throwback pic of himself with Kelly from 1995. “Belt, jeans, hiked up high… sweater tucked in??? Lord have mercy… and I know I looked in the mirror that night and said, ‘Yeah. You look awesome dude,'” he joked.
Kelly then wrote back, “Babe that was the style then. To look our absolute worst was all the rage (you were and are still the sexiest man I have ever seen).” Aren’t they just the cutest?!
