Kelly Ripa Claps Back at Troll Who Says Husband Mark Consuelos Works Out Too Much
There’s nothing wrong with working out, but apparently Kelly Ripa‘s haters think her husband, Mark Consuelos, hits the gym a little too much. They expressed their concerns about the Riverdale actor in a new photo that Kelly shared to Instagram on Tuesday, July 2.
“An actor prepares … for the end of vacation,” she captioned a sexy snap of her hubby with his shirt off at the beach. And even though Kelly’s photo has been liked nearly 100,000 times, a few people thought the pic made Mark look like a bad father to his children — Michael 22, Lola, 18, and Joaquin, 16.
“He spends a hell of a lot of his time working out should spend it with his wife and kids 😢,” one follower wrote in the comments section. Not one to sit back and let a troll run their mouth, Kelly decided to respond. “He’s on vacation WITH us,” she wrote. “He’s a multitasker.”
By clapping back, Kelly showed her haters that she won’t let anyone or anything come in between her and Mark. The pair have been married since 1996 and the ABC cohost credits her friend and singing sensation Cher for showing her how to be strong in Hollywood.
“I think you know by now I love you and I have for as long as I can remember,” she said, addressing the singer in a video by People. “You have seriously taught me so much about being a woman, a strong woman and an inclusive woman in the entertainment industry.”
“I look up to you, I hold you in such high esteem and I thank you for keeping it real and normal and fighting the good fight,” she added.
Kelly and Mark recently celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary together on Wednesday, May 1. Even though they’ve been married for more than two decades, they look forward to seeing many more years together!
