‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Kevin McKidd Welcomes Baby No. 1 With Wife Arielle Goldrath!
Congratulations are in order! Kevin McKidd didn't just welcome a son as Dr. Owen Hunt on the hit medical drama Grey's Anatomy — he has welcomed a newborn baby in real life too. The actor took to Instagram on Sunday, May 13, to share that his wife, Arielle Goldrath, gave birth on Mother's Day.
"On this beautiful Mother’s Day evening. Welcome little Aiden to our family and to the World! Arielle, you’re the most amazing mother and I love you both so much! #HappyMothersDay #Forever #WeeAiden #Arielle #NewLife," the 44-year-old wrote alongside an adorable black and white snapshot of the newborn and Arielle.
Fans quickly took to the comments to congratulate the couple. "Ohhhh, thanks for this great news. I congratulate you both to your beautiful son. He looks soo cute," one wrote. Another added, "Enjoy your new little bundle of joy and stay happy and in love." One user commented, "Awe Congrats!!!!!! Welcome to the world little Aiden."
Back in March, Kevin and Arielle tied the knot in a surprise ceremony. At the time, Kevin also announced Arielle was pregnant with their first child. "Arielle and I are so happy to announce our marriage and new baby, who is soon to join our growing family," he shared on his website. "My kids are happy for us too and are looking forward to the arrival of their newest sibling!" Kevin was previously married to Jane Parker from 1999 until 2016, so he's already a dad to an 18-year-old son Joseph and 16-year-old daughter Iona.
Owen's love life is super complicated on Grey's, but in real life, it's nothing short of perfect. We're looking forward to seeing more photos of little Aiden!
