Mike Seaver will never forget his dad, Dr. Jason Seaver.

Hours after Alan Thicke's untimely death, his Growing Pains co-star and TV son Kirk Cameron paid an emotional tribute to the late star on social media.

I spent Monday through Friday for seven important years with Alan Thicke as my "TV dad." I'm shocked and truly heartbroken today at the news of his death. Alan was a generous, kind and loving man. I am so blessed to have grown up with him. Chelsea and I send our love and prayers to his family tonight. We will cherish the memories… "sharing the laughter and love."

"I spent Monday through Friday for seven important years with Alan Thicke as my 'TV dad.' I'm shocked and truly heartbroken today at the news of his death," Kirk, 46, wrote on Instagram. "Alan was a generous, kind and loving man. I am so blessed to have grown up with him. [My wife], Chelsea, and I send our love and prayers to his family tonight. We will cherish the memories… 'sharing the laughter and love.'"

The two starred in the hit sitcom together from 1985 until 1992. Alan passed away from a heart attack on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at age 69. He will be missed!

Alan Thicke (Jason Seaver)

Still most known for his role on the 80s sitcom, the star continued acting and appeared on shows like How I Met Your Mother and The Bold and the Beautiful. Alan sadly died at age 69 on Dec. 13, 2016 after suffering a heart attack.

Joanna Kerns (Maggie Seaver)

Since the show, her most memorable role to date was playing Katherine Heigl's mother in the popular movie, Knocked Up. The actress, 63, has also starred in several made for TV movies.

Kirk Cameron (Mike Seaver)

At the age of 17, Kirk, now 45, became a born-again Christian, and in recent years has gained a lot of criticism after referring to homosexuality as "ultimately destructive to foundations of civilization." He now has six kids — Jack, Luke, Anna, Isabella, James and Olivia — with his wife, Chelsea Noble.

Tracey Gold (Carol Seaver)

The 47-year-old took a break from the acting world after Growing Pains to focus on raising her three children, Dylan, Aiden and Sage. In 2004, she was arrested for drunk driving after she rolled her SUV — which carried her husband and children — down the road. After getting three years probation, she cleaned up her act and later welcomed another child, Bailey. In 2011, she publicly spoke out about her previous battles with anorexia and bulimia.

Jeremy Miller (Ben Seaver)

After the show wrapped, Jeremy, 39, struggled with alcoholism for several years. He is now sober.

Ashley Johnson (Chrissy Seaver)

The 33-year-old has been consisting working since her days as the youngest in the Seaver household. She appeared in What Women Want, The Avengers and the TV series, Spooked.

Leonardo DiCaprio (Luke Brower)

So, Leonardo kind of fell off the map after Growing Pains. LOL, just kidding… he's still one of the greatest and most popular actors ever. The 41-year-old has yet to settle down but has been romantically linked to several gorgeous stars including Rihanna and Bar Refaeli. Currently, he's rumored to be dating 25-year-old model, Kelly Rohrbach. Professionally, the heartthrob has starred in many successful films in recent years, including The Wolf of Wall Street, The Great Gatsby and Inception.
