Luke Perry's Daughter Sophie Posts Childhood Photos With Late Dad

Once upon a time, Luke Perry was still here and his daughter, Sophie Perry, didn’t have to miss him. The late actor’s 19-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday, June 12, to pay tribute to her dad, who passed away on March 4 at age 52 after suffering a “massive stroke” a few days prior.

“I love you,” she captioned a collage of the sweetest childhood photos of her and her dad. In the snaps that she shared, the blonde beauty and the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum look more adorable than ever. In the first pic, a young Luke can be seen lovingly staring lovingly at his little girl when she was just a baby.

In a second photo, Sophie — whom Luke shares with ex-wife Rachel Sharp — smiled while sitting in a chair next to her handsome dad. The adorable youngster donned a super cute Christmas ensemble while posing for the pic with a festive gift on her lap. In the final pic she shared, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor and his baby girl sat on the floor while Luke held a toy microphone in his hand.

Fans of the beloved Hollywood star — who is also dad to Sophie’s 21-year-old brother, Jack Perry — flooded the comment section with messages of compassion and hope. “Your Dad loves you as well and he’s your angel now. Hugs to you,” one follower wrote. Another user even shared words of encouragement after going through a similar experience. “I lost my mum a few weeks ago too. The only thing that gets me through the day is knowing that she’s looking down on me, my hearts go out to you,” the user gushed.

In April, Sophie announced that she helped open a preschool in Malawi, Africa — where she frequently does volunteer work — and named the new establishment after her late father.

“Thank you to everybody who donated to help with our projects! Our first school is finished and I can’t tell you how proud and excited I am to see it open,” she revealed via Instagram at the time. “Thank you to my amazing partner Ruben for everything. Especially for fighting to name the school after my dad.”

We hope Sophie can take solace in knowing her dad will always be remembered.
