Lynda Carter Shares Her Biggest Life Lesson: “Don’t Marry the First Person That Proposes to You!” (EXCLUSIVE)
Actress Lynda Carter, also known as Wonder Woman, exclusively told Closer Weekly in a new interview what advice she would give her 20-year-old self.
“Don’t marry the first person that proposes to you!” said Lynda, whose first marriage to producer Ron Samuels lasted only from 1977 to 1982. “He was a lot older, and I was just stupid.”

Now 66, Lynda has been happily married to lawyer Robert Altman since 1984. “He makes me laugh,” Lynda told Closer. “When I get into my minutia, he brings me off the edge!” She’s passed along a sense of fun to their two kids.
“Everyone sees her as so regal, glamorous and beautiful,” daughter Jessica Altman, 27, told Closer. “But she is the goofiest, silliest human being by far that I’ve ever met in my entire life.”
