Major League Baseball Team Unveils New In-Stadium Nursery for Moms

Talk about a home run idea!

When Cincinnati Reds executive Phil Castellini heard moms were having a hard time finding a quiet and comfortable place to feed their babies while watching baseball games, he decided to take action by creating the first in-stadium nursery.

The nursing suite — adorably designed in the team’s signature red, white and black colors — includes a kitchenette, private bathroom, lockers and diaper-changing areas for parents and kids.

The best part? The area additionally features flat-screen TV’s so moms don’t have to miss a minute of the game!

The suite — built in partnership with Pampers and local homebuilder Fischer Homes — was established to provide a “warm and inviting place where moms could still stay connected to the game, but also have all the comforts of her home,” Fischer Homes spokesman Steve Whaley said in a statement.

The nursery is expected to be open to the public for the Reds’ home opener on April 6.
