In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Maria Shriver opens up about the most important lesson she’s learned during her 62 years on earth. “You’ve got to keep learning and evolving, staying open in your mind and heart, and not holding on to judgments or resentments,” she told Closer. “Keep trying to have a life of purpose.”
The journalist and former first lady of California shares this type of wisdom in her new book, I’ve Been Thinking… Reflections, Prayers, and Meditations for a Meaningful Life. “I draw inspiration from my faith and from people who have gone before me,” she says. “Regular, everyday people inspire me with their stories,” the mother-of-four admits to Closer.
