Maria Shriver Is “Single and Looking” Six Months After Filing for Divorce From Arnold Schwarzenegger!

Six years after her split from Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver is single and ready to mingle!

The NBC News correspondent is currently serving as a co-host on the Today show and she opened up about her love life during a roundtable discussion about the importance of lunch breaks with hosts Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Matt Lauer, Al Roker, and Carson Daly.

“I went out yesterday for lunch with my friend Gayle King,” the 61-year-old said, mentioning the CBS This Morning co-anchor. “I discussed that
at lunch — how great she is, how great we are, how we’re both single, how we’re both looking.”

The topic changed to the reasons why fewer people are choosing to eat lunch at their desks instead of going out to lunch, and Savannah circled the conversation right back to Maria.

“More about your love life, Maria!” the 45-year-old teased. “Just kidding!”

But it was too late because the rest of the Today co-hosts joined in.

“Single and ready to mingle — that’s what’s trending!” Matt said, and Maria got so flustered on-camera that she had to fan herself with some papers.

Maria and Arnold announced their split in May 2011 after 25 years of marriage but Maria didn’t file for divorce from The Terminator star until last December, two months after the former California governor admitted that he fathered a child — now 19-year-old Joseph Baena — with the family’s longtime housekeeper Mildred Patricia Baena.

But even though the couple has been estranged for six years, Maria and Arnold are committed to keeping their family together, especially since they share four children — 27-year-old Katherine, 25-year-old Christina, 23-year-old Patrick, and 19-year-old Christopher. Last November, Christina revealed that her family still spends holidays together.

“We're always together on Christmas; my mom, my dad, my siblings,” she previously revealed to Closer. “We're all together as a whole family. It's really nice.”
