Goodbye, London! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘Could’ Move to Africa With Their New Baby

Don’t get too used to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being in London — they might be moving to Africa soon after their royal baby is born. With a new international role opening up for a member of the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might live abroad for two or three years.

“[They] could move to Africa but nothing is set in stone,” a royal insider exclusively tells Closer Weekly. “Harry and Meghan are in awe of beauty and tranquility Africa has to offer and have such fond memories of spending time there as a couple. Harry also spent a lot of his childhood there.”

Harry’s special advisor on international affairs, David Manning, says he’s come up with a plan for the royal couple to be more hands-on overseas and build on their work for the Commonwealth. Even though they may likely pack their bags and leave London, a decision won’t be made until 2020.

“They’ve only just settled into Frogmore Cottage and are focusing on the arrival of their first child. The idea of packing up again and moving to another continent is the last thing they want to think about right now,” the source explains. “They wouldn’t permanently move to Africa.”

Once their royal baby arrives, Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, might start making big lifestyle changes. “Once the baby is born and things start getting back to normal they’ll seriously consider the move,” the insider adds. “They’d have much more freedom and privacy in Africa, which is something they crave. They’d happily give up London to move there.”

Given the fact that they’ll be parents, Meghan and Harry will be deciding what’s best for their entire family before making any rash decisions. After all, their little bundle of joy is set to arrive any day now!
