Royal Fan Thinks Meghan Markle Was Holding Her Bump At British Fashion Awards Because She Felt Her Baby Kick

Pregnant royal Meghan Markle is being criticized by some people this week for holding her baby bump while hitting the stage at the British Fashion Awards on Monday, Dec. 10. But, according to one royal fan, the Duchess of Sussex may have been touching her growing belly at the event because she felt her baby kick while presenting an award!

On Tuesday, Dec. 11, Twitter user @_pammyyy posted a video of the moment she thought Meghan, 37, may have felt her baby move while standing on-stage. “She felt that kick. Now everyone can calm down about her holding her bump, stay pressed,” the woman captioned the clip, which shows Meghan seemingly clutching her stomach and subtly making a face during the award show.

After the video of Prince Harry‘s expectant wife went viral, many other people commented on @_pammyyy’s Twitter post and agreed with her claim that the baby may have been kicking mama-to-be Meghan. “Baby Sussex is having a whole party in there. She had to close her eyes,” one fan wrote with another similarly adding, “That baby was definitely kicking.”

While at the British Fashion Awards, Meghan looked gorgeous in a black, one-shoulder Givenchy gown paired with gold jewelry that was a sweet nod to her royal father-in-law, Prince Charles. Though the Duchess stunned in her gown at the event, it was reportedly her second choice as her first outfit was shot down by the Palace. “Meghan had two different outfit options for the Fashion Awards on Monday night. Both were sent to her by Givenchy. The one she wore wasn’t her first choice but is the one the Palace approved,” a source close to Meghan told Us Weekly. “She still looked really elegant, but I wonder what her choice was for the Palace to still allow a one-shoulder dress.”
