Meghan Markle's Wedding Dress Will Reportedly Go on Display at Windsor Castle

Royal fans will reportedly be able to marvel at Meghan Markle‘s expensive Givenchy wedding dress once more! According to the Daily Mail, the more than $250,000 gown will soon be on display at Windsor Castle by the end of 2018.

Sources told the outlet that the lavish dress will be a part of a public exhibit at one of Queen Elizabeth‘s residences in Windsor. The Daily Express added that an official announcement will be made later this year by The Royal Collection Trust, which oversees all of the public openings for Queen Elizabeth’s official residences.

If Meghan’s gorgeous gown will be on display at Windsor Castle, then the 1,000-year-old fortress can expect to welcome a lot more tourists by 2019. Since Meghan married Prince Harry at the castle in May, royal fans have flocked to see the iconic landmark where Meghan became a royal. The Daily Mail also reported that bookings at Windsor Castle has risen by 92 percent for this summer alone.

MyVoucherCodes spokesperson Louisa Marsden once noted how popular Meghan’s outfits have become. “Everything Meghan steps out in at the moment is selling out in a matter of minutes, so it was no surprise to see much of the excitement in the run-up to the royal wedding on Saturday, [May 19] was the speculation over Meghan’s dress,” she said.

Marsden also added that Meghan’s reception dress was also very popular amongst royal fans. “Her evening dress, custom-made by Stella McCartney, seems to have been a firm favorite out of the two, with many preferring the striking cut and racing online to get their hands on a similar gown themselves,” she noted.

Harry and Meghan’s wedding was so memorable that their wedding carriage is already on display at Buckingham Palace. According to People, the carriage that the royal couple rode around Windsor Castle in is parked at one of the Queen’s residences’ parking garages, aka the Royal Mews. Harry and Meghan are already making history like Kate Middleton and Prince William!
