Melissa McCarthy Shows Off Her 50-Pound Weight Loss at 'Spy' Premiere — See the Pics! - Closer Weekly

Melissa McCarthy looks better than ever!

The 44-year-old actress flaunted her noticeably slimmer figure after recently shedding an impressive 50 pounds — which she accomplished by following a strict “high protein, low carb diet” — at last night’s NYC premiere of her new movie, Spy.

For the occasion, the mom-of-three donned a pretty patterned maxi dress, which Melissa designed herself for her new clothing line, Melissa McCarthy Seven7.

“I just don’t believe in a uniform,” the actress said of creating women’s plus size clothing. “I think if people have it and they love it, great, but I think people get into a rut and I’ve always been someone who gets a kick out of dressing.”

“I’m trying to give women a closet that gives them some variety,” she added to People of her clothing line, which launches in August.

Spy — which stars Jason Statham, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Allison Janney and Jude Law — hits theaters this Friday, June 5.
