During an episode of her “Mina AF” podcast, Mina shockingly revealed that Good Bones was ending after season 8.

“Today, I filmed my last few pickups for Good Bones. Not Good Bones season 8, but for Good Bones. So it is official, that’s a wrap, folks,” she announced.

Mina shared photos from son Jack’s birthday party on Instagram. The home designer, who also shares daughter Charlotte with husband Steve Hawk, confirmed to podcast listeners that she did not invite Karen to the party.

In the middle of another podcast episode, Mina admitted that she was in a “challenging” place with her mom and brothers.

“We all put our big kid pants on and pretend to be nice … then go back to our corners of the universe and talk s–t about each other,” the TV personality said. “My mom and I aren’t in a great place. My brother Tad and I aren’t in a great place. My brother William and I are in a kind of like nonexistent place. It’s complicated without even being complicated. We don’t really engage much and the last engagement wasn’t super positive, and that was maybe a year ago.”

The mom of two addressed fans who said she looked “angry” alongside her costars in recent episodes of Good Bones.
“I own the properties. I pay the contractors. I pay my workers comp insurance,” she explained on “Mina AF.” “I, as one single human, carry the weight of everything you see on TV. And not in a toot-my-own-horn way, but like this is why I’m so damn cranky all the time, you guys. Because I can’t be the one having fun.”

While filming the final episodes of Good Bones, Mina and Karen had “a knockdown drag-out [fight] during demo.”
“There were definitely some challenging [moments] because my mom and I were in some of the most challenging places I felt we’ve been,” Mina told People of their disagreement.

After fans grew curious about the root of Mina and Karen’s falling out, she took to her podcast to answer some burning questions.
“It’s not been one thing that my mom and I can go back to, and I can say, ‘OK, I forgive you and we’re going to go past this one thing,’” Mina said. “It’s a cumulative situation from the time I can remember when I was 3 of things that have created the situation that we’re in now and it’s incredibly hard to undo.”
As for her relationship with Tad, the Indianapolis native is still keeping her distance.

“My brother Tad said some really awful stuff to me and I’m sure he would say that I’ve said some awful stuff to him too,” Mina recalled. “But the most recent stuff he said to me, he can’t say it’s not what he said. He can’t say I misunderstood. It’s in text and it’s black and white and that was kind of my final straw there.”

Though Mina is still not on good terms with Karen and Tad, she was able to patch things up with William. “William and I are good, we’ve squashed it,” she shared.
