Newspaper Makes Awkward Typo In Julia Roberts Headline And Twitter, Naturally, Has A Field Day

So embarrassing! Julia Roberts, 51, was, unfortunately, the victim of an awkward newspaper headline mistake earlier this week. And after a photo of a printed The Post-Journal story with the headline, “Julia Roberts Finds Life and Her Holes Get Better With Age,” went viral, Twitter, of course, had a field day with the article.

After spotting the error, people immediately started to make fun of the headline online. One person joked via Twitter, “Also enjoyed her new Netflix show Holecoming,” and another similarly wrote, “Wonder which holes are getting better?” Actress Busy Philipps also chimed in on the fun and tweeted, “This is why she’s a movie star. My holes have only gotten worse with age.”

Once the local Jamestown, NY newspaper realized the typo in their headline, the staff issued a correction. “A headline on Page D4 in Saturday’s Post-Journal should have read ‘Julia Roberts Finds Love and Her Roles Get Better With Age.'” the printed statement explained.

As the article stated, Julia’s career has definitely been getting better with age. The star recently broke out of her usual rom-com roles and is now starring in the TV show Homecoming. In the series, Julia plays a caseworker named Heidi who helps soldiers transition back to civilian life from the military.

“I liked the idea of playing to different characters. It was interesting to see the differences and the things that she’s aware of and not aware of,” Julia said in a previous interview with the Daily Express about why she decided to take the part. “It was the whole package, the whole story. It’s so complex and fascinating and has all of these really interesting ideas and characters that reveal themselves in unique ways.”
