Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Give Us Major ‘Moulin Rouge’ Vibes Singing ‘My Song’ in a Sweet Duet — Watch!
We hope you don’t mind watching the sweetest duet ever, because this is definitely it. Nicole Kidman shared a video of her and husband Keith Urban singing Elton John‘s “My Song.” Cinephiles will instantly notice that this tune is featured in Moulin Rouge, the 2001 film she starred in opposite Ewan McGregor. The iconic movie musical went on to win two Oscars.
“A little backstage moment before heading to Monterey ❤️🌹,” Nicole, 51, captioned the post before hitting the red carpet with Keith, also 51, at the Big Little Lies season 2 premiere in NYC.
In addition to making their fans’ day, they had some admirers, too. “Love it!” wrote Rita Wilson. Katie Couric added, “This is so great! A free concert on my phone! Thanks you two! ❤️❤️.”
This is not the first time we’ve seen the Australian couple perform together. Back in May 2016 Nicole accompanied Keith to his song “The Fighter” while they filmed in their car. The actress then sang “Female” with him for International Day of the Girl in October 2018. We love them!
