Nicole Kidman Recalls How ‘Wonderful’ It Was to See Her Young Daughters Act on ‘Big Little Lies’

A proud mom! Nicole Kidman is one lucky parent — not only does she get to star in Big Little Lies, but she gets to work with her two fantastic daughters.

The 51-year-old got to act alongside her youngest kids, Sunday, 10, and Faith, 8, and recently revealed to fans were exactly they can spot her girls on season two of the popular HBO drama. “You see them fleetingly in the classroom scenes,” the actress said during an interview with Good Morning America. This comes after the Oscar winner revealed her two little ones would be extras in a future episode.

The Moulin Rouge! star gushed about how amazing it was to see her girls on set with her. “Yes, and I’ve always said this, there’s something wonderful about bringing your children to work, and them seeing what you do, and them being a part of it, and being interested and curious and feeling like it’s theirs as well,” she explained.

I am nothing without the love of my family ❤️

Nicole, who shares Sunday and Faith with her husband Keith Urban, is even doing all she can to help by giving her daughters some acting tips.

“[The girls are] serious about following in Nicole’s footsteps and she’ll do everything she can to get them to where they want to be,” an insider exclusively told Closer Weekly. “Nicole has been talking about enrolling them in acting classes but for now, she’s realized that she can teach them herself!”

“She’s giving them lessons at home and they love every second of it. The fact that Faith and Sunday are so interested in this makes Nicole feel closer to them and even though they’re still young, she’s happy to help launch them into the spotlight,” the source added.

Her two young girls also seem to be all about their mom teaching them about acting, as they have always been intrigued by Nicole’s career. “My kids are always like, ‘What is she doing now? Our crazy mama,’” the Aquaman costar once told Entertainment Tonight. “But it’s also interesting for them, I think, because they see me creating characters and, you know, they have vivid imaginations themselves and they construct stories, and so that’s all they know.”

Sounds like Nicole has passed down the acting gene!
