Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne Just Welcomed Their Third Grandchild — Meet Baby Minnie!
The Osbourne family just got a little bigger! Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne became grandparents for the third time when their son, Jack Osbourne, and his wife, Lisa Osbourne, welcomed baby No. 3 on Saturday, Feb. 3. Jack, 32, took to Instagram on Monday, Feb. 5 to announce the birth of his newest daughter, Minnie Theodora Osbourne, and share the first pic of the little bundle of joy.
“Hey everyone, meet Minnie! She’s the newest member of my girls only squad,” the proud dad captioned an adorable snapshot of a sleeping baby Minnie. Hours later, Sharon, 65, took to Instagram to repost her son’s photo and gush about her newborn granddaughter. “I don’t have the words to express how happy I am for Jack and Lisa to have another beautiful little girl, and they named her Minnie which is [my] most very favorite name, other than Nana which is what the girls call me. It’s a gift to be a Nana to three little angels,” she wrote.
Jack and Lisa — who tied the knot in October 2012 — are already parents to two older daughters, Pearl Osbourne, 5, and Andy Rose Osbourne, 2. After Pearl’s April 2012 birth, Sharon opened up about becoming a first-time grandmother and revealed it was “overwhelming” but “amazing!” She told People, “It’s all overwhelming. But in a good way — in a really positive, lovely way. It’s just amazing.”
The Talk star continued, “You go through every emotion. You go through joy and you thank God that everybody is healthy and happy. You realize how lucky you are. It’s like life has gone full cycle in our family.” Ozzy has also loved becoming a grandpa. “[He told Jack,] this is a love that is so special,” Sharon once said of her husband. “He said, ‘You will never experience a love like this, other than a father and a daughter. It’s a very, very special love.'”
Sharon and Ozzy, 69, are also parents to two other children, Aimee Osbourne, 34, and Kelly Osbourne, 33. Though neither of their daughters has had kids yet, Sharon has expressed she’s hopeful to welcome many more grandchildren in the future! “I’ve got two more girls to marry off,” she previously said. “There will be more grandkids!”
