She’s a teenager now! Suri Cruise turned 13 on April 18, and for any fans of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter who might have been wondering what she did to celebrate the occasion, wonder no more. It looks like she got her nails done, which seems like an appropriate treat to mark the big birthday milestone.

Suri was spotted enjoying her birthday in the West Village in New York City with a friend, as well as her nanny, who accompanied them. They apparently stopped into a nail spa so Suri could get a manicure, before heading over to a coffee shop. So chic!

Suri was born on April 18, 2006, and her parents were married months later in front of more than 150 guests at a lavish wedding in Bracciano, Italy, on November 18, 2006, Us Weekly reported. Tom, 56, and Katie, 40, later split up in 2012.

These days, Katie appears to be Suri’s primary caregiver. She said on the Today show in 2014 that she tries to keep things as normal as possible for her daughter, but admitted, “Of course you try your best. I try very hard because I’m very grateful for my upbringing, my parents, my siblings. I try to do what they did for me for my little one.”

On the other hand, a family source told Us Weekly in August 2016 that Suri’s father hadn’t “seen or even called Suri in about three years.” A different insider revealed at the time that the Mission: Impossible star has “no relationship with Suri.”

If that really is the case, then Tom is missing out on some important moments in Suri’s life. Turning 13 is a big deal, and it looks like Suri did so in style! In fact, whenever the girl is spotted out in public, she appears to be a fashionable little lady these days. Her mom has clearly tried to keep her upbringing mostly private, but perhaps we’ll see more of this celebrity kid as she grows up even more.
