Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Reportedly On A Secret New Year's Eve Vacation

If anyone has had a busy year, it has to be Meghan Markle and Prince Harry! This year, Meghan married the love of her life in a beautiful royal wedding, officially became the Duchess of Sussex, and learned that she’s expecting her first child with Prince Harry. So judging by the couples’ extraordinarily busy schedules, it’s no wonder they may have jetted off to another country to enjoy themselves before 2019 begins.

According to the Daily Mail, Harry and Meghan have reportedly “gone on holiday” without Kate Middleton or Prince William. Since Meghan’s baby is expected to arrive in the spring, it’s likely that the royal couple just wanted a few days to themselves before their first child arrives.

This past August, Harry and Meghan were believed to have gone on vacation with their A-list friends George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney. George reportedly invited Harry and Meghan to stay at his house in Italy in Lake Como and since it was George who asked, Harry and Meghan reportedly couldn’t say no!

A source previously told Us Weekly that “George and Amal were so happy to host Meghan and Harry [because] Harry and George have a special bond and friendship.” The Clooneys were at Harry and Meghan’s wedding after all and at the Clooneys Italian retreat “[Harry and Meghan] spent the entire weekend at their home and enjoyed the privacy and security the Clooneys had for them there,” the source said. How luxurious!

Meghan seemed to have really enjoyed her stay at George’s Lake Como house because the Clooneys extended an invite to her and her husband when she was in the midst of all her family drama. At the time, Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle, accused Harry’s family of being like a “cult” because they are “secretive.”

It’s so obvious why Meghan would decide to end 2018 with a relaxing vacation! We would too if we were her!
