Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Daughter Lilibet Is Precious! See All of Her Rare Photos So Far

Their Pride and Joy

The Spare author and the Suits actress announced Lilibet’s birth in June 2021.

“On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe,” they wrote on their Archewell website. “Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

Her Namesake

Lilibet’s name has a very special meaning.

“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet,” a statement read. “Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.”

She Has Red Hair

Harry initially didn’t think either of his kids would inherit his red hair.

“I actually really thought in the beginning of my relationship, should this go the distance and we have kids, there is no way the ginger gene will stand up to my wife’s genes,” he said during an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in January 2023. “I was wrong.”

Family Resemblance

He also sees a resemblance between his kids and his late mother, Princess Diana.

“The Spencer gene is very, very strong,” Harry said. “The ginger gene is a strong one.”

Sibling Bond

Archie already has a close bond with his little sister.

“The gap between me and William was very similar to Archie and Lili,” Harry said in January 2023 while appearing on ITV. “And to see Lili obsessed with Archie and Archie like, ‘No, no, Lili, I need my space. I need my space now.’ I get it. … I get how irritating the younger sibling can be to the older sibling.”

Baby Blues

Harry revealed in the Netflix series Harry & Meghan that his daughter also has “the same blue eyes” as Princess Diana.

Family-Focused Holidays

Lilibet looked almost as tall as her older brother in the family’s December 2024 holiday card. Her bright red hair was on full display in the rare photo.

“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” the proud parents wrote in a message on the card.

So Cute!

Meghan shared a sweet post on International Women’s Day in March 2025, featuring a photo of Harry cuddled up with Lilibet while on a boat.

“Happy International Women’s Day!” she captioned the post. “Celebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day.”

Lilibet’s red hair was visible in the snapshot as she adorably snuggled up with her dad on the beautiful day out. The little one wore a pink shirt and printed bottoms during the outing, while Harry rocked a backwards cap, a white T-shirt and shorts.
