So Sweet!Prince Harry Toasts With Water To Support Pregnant Wife Meghan Markle
We just can’t get enough of these two! On their first night in Fiji, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended a black-tie dinner at Grand Pacific Hotel hosted by the Fijian Prime Minister. When it came to the traditional toast, rather than toasting with wine or champagne, Harry made sure to make his pregnant wife feel included and toasted with water instead. How considerate and sweet!
This is not rare behavior for Prince Harry, who always makes sure his wife feels comfortable and at ease. In fact, he reportedly was the one who encouraged Meghan to slow down and take it down a notch to rest for the last portion of their royal tour. The Duke and Duchess have been busy with back to back events for over a week now, so it’s natural for pregnant Meghan to take some time off, despite her feeling fine.
As always, the royal couple looked amazing at the event; Meghan wore a beautiful simple blue dress, while Prince Harry wore a suit, showing off his medals. The two couldn’t look more elegant and happy together. You can even see Meghan’s adorable baby bump as she cradles it.
Reporter and royal commentator Omid Scobie took to Twitter to share details of the royal couple’s night at the dinner event. It seems like this was a special night for Harry and Meghan due to their family ties. “This visit is particularly nostalgic for us as a young married couple — my grandparents stayed in this very hotel, the Grand Pacific, a number of times over the years,” Harry reportedly said during a speech.
Fans of the royal family are swooning over all the couple’s sweet gestures, claiming how “romantic” they are or how they’re “couple goals” — and we can’t agree more!
