Reba McEntire Opens ACM Awards With Hilarious Monologue: ‘I Haven’t Been Tired in 53 Years’
Country music legend Reba McEntire kicked off the Academy of Country Music Awards in the most Reba way possible — with a hilarious monologue! “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia” singer — who is hosting the 54th annual awards show — pulled out all the jokes while opening the highly anticipated event.
“This is my 16th time hosting the show!” the 64-year-old beauty exclaimed to her star-studded audience while onstage. “People always ask me, ‘Do you ever get tired of doing it?’ And I say, ‘Tired? Of celebrating great artists and music? Tired of amazing live performances? Tired of being in charge of the biggest night in country?’ Heck no! My name is Reba McEntire and I haven’t been tired in 53 years!”

If Reba is hosting, the show is guaranteed to be a good one! Be sure to watch Reba’s comical monologue in the video above!
