Reba McEntire Shares Family Photo After Having ‘Wonderful’ Christmas
Still in holiday-mode! Christmas may have come and gone, but we are still seeing celebrities share some of their family pics, including Reba McEntire, who finally posted hers.
“Now that things have finally slowed down a little bit, I can post a few things,” the 64-year-old wrote via Instagram on Friday, December 27, alongside a photo with loved ones. “I pray everybody had a wonderful Christmas. I sure did!” The pic also shows the country singer in a funny sweater from the holiday film, Elf.
People were loving the snap, as they rushed to the comments section to respond. “This is the best,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Glad to see you with that beautiful smile! Enjoy the moments before things get busy again!!” One person that is noticeably absent from the holiday snap is the entertainer’s longtime boyfriend, Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo. The pair split in May 2019, Closer Weekly exclusively revealed. However, Reba still has plenty of love around her.
“She’s been spending a lot of time with her siblings,” an insider told Closer about about Alice, 68, Pake, 66, and Susie McEntire, 62. “She’s also close with her son Shelby [Blackstock]. They’ll all take trips together. They’ve met up in Colorado a few times with her stepson Brandon [Blackstock] and his wife, Kelly [Clarkson].”
Even though the Grammy winner and Skeeter may be no more, Reba is still seeing plenty of things to be hopeful about moving forward. “Reba feels like this is kind of a new start for her. She’s single, she’s going back on the road and she’s optimistic about what’s in store,” another source exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly. “She feels like her past couple of albums have opened her up to new fans and she loves that. She feels young and energized and is staying open to all new possibilities coming her way. Reba says she can’t believe how lucky she is that her fans have stayed loyal to her for all these years.”
Now that a year new is just around the corner, we are excited for all that that may bring Reba. We looking forward to seeing her next adventure!
